Under the names of Fay A. Daley and Fay A. Klingler, I coordinated and promoted my writing/illustrating business for over 30 years, conducting extensive research, reviewing and evaluating manuscripts and illustrations, editing submissions for publication, creating and designing books, greeting cards, magazine articles, and illustrations.

In addition, as a technical writer/editor and project leader, I wrote or contributed to many railroad, oil refinery, and bank operating or safety manuals.

I have won many awards for my non-fiction books. As an indie author, however, I am currently focused on children’s Christian fiction. My children’s book, I Am Strong! I Am Smart!, was a finalist for USA Best Book Awards in the Children’s Religious category.

I Am Strong! I Am Smart!

Luisa May, known to her family and friends as Lu, loves to play games with her Grandma. When she’s bullied at school, Grandma has a special puzzle for Lu to help her see how valuable she is—no matter what others say, or how much doubt she feels within herself. Soon after, Grandma has to go to the hospital, and Lu finds out Grandma needs help recovering. Then it’s Lu’s turn to help Grandma see how valuable she is—no matter how much doubt she feels within herself. It’s a beautiful parallel for young and old alike, as each age learns from the other.
