The Alliance of Independent Authors is a professional business membership organisation that advises, campaigns for, and empowers self-publishing authors. A non-profit, our mission is ethics and excellence in self-publishing and we provide authors with trusted advice, supportive guidance, and a range of resources, within a welcoming community.
Join below if you are a self-publishing service willing to be vetted. You’ve nothing to lose: we have a 28-day, no quibble, refund policy. If you are an author who provides services, you can join as a Partner Member and also receive full author benefits. If you are an author who does NOT provide services, join here.
Partner
You are eligible for Partner membership if you run a self-publishing service and are willing to adhere to ALLi’s code of standards and our partnership approval process.
This membership is assessed and fees are tiered depending on how many employees and/or Full Time Equivalents (FTEs) your company has working to provide its services.
Please join to commerce the assessment process. If, for any reason, we are not a fit, your fees will be refunded in full.
Once accepted as a Partner member, you receive:

Partner Membership Discretion Clause
At ALLi, we value transparency, fairness, and a shared commitment to independent authorship. We welcome applications from sole traders and companies that align with our values and mission.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any partner membership at our discretion. Our decisions are based on a combination of objective factors and more subjective considerations, including whether we are a fit and whether we believe a strong, collaborative partnership can be established.
While we strive to be as transparent as possible, there may be instances where we are unable to provide detailed reasons for declining an application. By applying, you agree to respect this process.
