I'm Katherine Kirk, and I offer line-editing, copy-editing, and proofreading for fiction and tabletop role-playing games.

My aim is to help amplify the voices of marginalized authors. I believe in conscious language and that the words we choose to use matter. As your editor, I help to smooth the reading experience for all the different kinds of readers of your book while maintaining your unique authorial voice.

My favorite genres are science fiction, speculative fiction, magical realism, literary fiction, and historical fiction.

I work primarily with CMOS but can easily adapt to your personal style, preferences, and house style. I'm also familiar with the Wizards of the Coast style guide.
