Now an award winning children’s author and retired teacher, Jane was always one of those nerdy kids that couldn’t wait to get started on her creative writing homework! When she ‘grew up’ and finally settled in North Yorkshire, that urge to write never left. When she’s not spinning a good yarn, she enjoys playing with her grandchildren, eating strawberry ice cream and getting lost in the pages of a great book.
If you like witches, dragons, windy spaniels, grumpy giants, discombobulated animals, birds, pirates, monsters or dinosaurs then you’d be hard pushed not to find something to like in one of her books! Not only are they exquisitely illustrated, they also combine fun stories with entertaining educational sections.
Jane is currently working on a new series about an adventurous but rather dizzy witch who manages to get herself into all sorts of silly scrapes.
