With more than 12 million copies of her books sold worldwide, Lucy Monroe is an author of spicy romance. She has books published in short and long contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance and romantic suspense.
In 2023, she fell in love with a new subgenre: mafia romance. Since she writes what she loves to read, Lucy started a new standalone series, Syndicate Rules. There, you'll meet over the top alpha heroes in the Italian and Greek mafias as well as the Irish mob. There are arranged marriages, forced marriages, enemies to lovers, stalkers, forced proximity and lots of mafia intrigue.

And most of her 90+ books have hit the Nielson Bookscan bestseller list, a few ended up on the USA Today bestseller list and some even hit national bestseller lists in the UK and Australia.
Her books have been translated into numerous languages and are for sale in dozens of countries. She's won awards and been published with most of the big houses in New York, but she'll tell you that the most important achievement for her is touching readers' hearts. When she hears from a reader who got caught up in one of her books, she knows she's doing what she is meant to do.
She's a voracious reader of many genres, but romance has been her passion since she snuck her first Harlequin from her oldest sister’s bedside table.
Lucy's path to publication was not short, direct or easy. She wrote more than one million words of romance before selling her 13th manuscript to Harlequin Presents. The good news is that she also sold the 12 books she wrote before that to Kensington, Berkley and Samhain, so none of those hard fought words were left languishing in a drawer somewhere. Before embarking on her indie publishing career, she also sold a book to Grand Central rounding out her traditional publishing career.
She writes emotionally deep stories with snappy dialogue and solid plots. She's incredibly grateful that so many readers have taken her stories into their hearts and put her books on their reread and keeper shelves.
