Great to see local Family Historians presenting their ancestral tales as fiction in a way that will interest readers, especially those who also have convict ancestors. This is a story of crimes, punishments, family feuds, redemptions and local history, crafted as an engaging and easy read. Inspirational to those who are looking for a range of different models of how to present their family stories and also of interest to the general reader. An admirable effort!
