ALLi media releaseALLi Launches the First Self-Publishing Poetry Podcast

#AskALLi Video and Podcast Series Launch 2019-2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, August 11, 2019, London, UK: In another first for the London based authors organization, and as part of its 2019-2020 season of broadcasts, the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) is to launch the first Self-Publishing Poetry Podcast.

ALLi’s new 2019/2020 broadcast lineup offers weekly Facebook live videos and bi-weekly audio podcasts, and reflects the two most notable trends in self-publishing today: the rise in poetry as a commercial genre; and the rise in audio consumption, through both podcasting and audiobooks.

Keys to Successful Self-Publishing

The key to successful self-publishing is to keep experimenting and learning and that's the focus of the #AskALLi broadcasts, whether it’s our team and advisors offering advice or other inspirational indie authors telling their stories.

“We’re delighted to bring the self-publishing indie author stimulating content that helps answer their creative and commercial questions,” said Orna Ross, founder and director of ALLi. “Whether they’re publishing their first books or well-established in their author businesses, and regardless of where in the world they live, this is a don’t-miss lineup. Successful self-publishers trust the Alliance of Independent Authors to bring only the most up-to-date best practice and actionable ideas, tools and techniques.”

Self-publishing is a fast-changing industry and ALLi’s broadcasts cover every aspect of the business, across fiction, nonfiction, and now poetry too.

For the new #AskALLi Self-Publishing Poetry Salon  Orna Ross, ALLi founder and director, will be joined by poetry enthusiast, lecturer Dalma Szentpály, and Business Development Associate at ebook publishing and distribution platform, PublishDrive.

“Dalma and I are both thrilled by the recent successes of indie poets,” says Orna Ross. “We want to bring these poets and their self-published poetry more attention at a time when poetry is experiencing a surge in popularity. And we want poets to understand the great  transformation that’s happening in publishing and how they can best succeed in making great poetry books and reaching what is currently a growing audience for poetry online and off.”
