ALLi Partner Member

ALLi wants to commend good author-services while, through our Watchdog service, alerting writers to rogue providers and those who overcharge, under-deliver, or in any way exploit writers.

Publishing service providers (writing consultants and courses, editors, designers and formatters, printers, book distributors, marketing and promotion services) are invited to join ALLi as Partner Members, agreeing thereby to adhere to our Code of Standards and to being vetted by our watchdog service.

Once accepted as a Partner Member, service providers can reach out to Author Members in a variety of ways.

Services Database
You get a listing in our ‘Find A Service’ database in the member area. Author Members, and other authors interested in self-publishing, search this database for vetted, trusted services. Partners are listed under both service category and territory.

Self-Publishing Services Directory
This Directory of our Partner Members is published annually and delivered to existing ALLi members and the wider author community via ALLi’s main website and our Self-publishing Advice Centre and goes with us to Book Fairs and events. All services listed are checked against ALLi’s code of standards and approved via the ALLi Watchdog team.

Discounts & Deals
Our Partner Members offer our Author Members special discounts and deals.

Member Forums
Partner Members answer author queries and offer services in our private member groups.

Author Advice Blog & Member Showcase
Partner Members, like Author Members, can feature launches, updates, news and opinion on our blog and Members Showcase, if the news is of interest to authors

Good author-services are a highly valued strand in our alliance.

Becoming A Partner Member

Fees for partner membership are staggered, depending on how many employees your company has.

To become a Partner Member of our alliance, go here.

As the majority of applications proceed without a hitch, and most Partner members join in good faith, you are welcome to upload your profile, browse the partner member area, and to join in our networking forums, while the application process proceeds.

If we find something that doesn’t fit, we’ll discuss it with you, offering you a chance to explain and make changes if necessary. If improvement or alignment is not forthcoming (or if we don’t get a reply from you at the email address used to apply) membership is reneged, and full fees refunded.

Once the vetting process is complete, our Resources Director, Philip Lynch, will welcome you to full membership and send your membership badge.
